en casa.... con varicela !

incredible but true...
I already felt a bit sick in Zapata, but in Villahermosa, before I took the plane, I had no temperature. Then in the D.F I was at 38. but they let me take the plane to Germany, I felt quite tired, I finally arrived to Paris, took the train to Beaune... everything ok. But yesterday night I checked my temperature 38.8, so I called the SAMU kind of "mobile accident unit"... telling them I had temperature, and I was in Mexico before... the doctor did'nt know how to react and what to say, he called me back one hour later, but given I didn't cough and had no cold, they told me it could'nt be the swine flu... and this morning I awoke with spots all over my skin, we called a doctor, he came home and said "c'est la varicelle!" varicela, chickenpox... I didn't get it when I was a kid and the spots may only appear one or two weeks after you catch the virus, so I don't know if it was during the vacations in Oaxaca or in the university. It's shitty but it seems I'm pretty lucky because the older you are the more you may get a high temperature with complications. Nevertheless I'm just feeling tired. algo es algo.
About these first days in France, apart from the chickenpox, I must confess it's quite strange to be here again. Hot water, a bed, shutters, no noise in the street in the morning, just some cars, you can sleep as long as you want. it's a bit cold outside, 12-14 degrees, the sky was grey when I arrived to Paris, faces looked sad. From times to times I want to say something and the spanish word comes first. I don't need to go to the Superche, everything is in the fridge. I don't have any patio to chill out. No hamaca. People are not surprised to see my white beardy face. They don't ask me where I'm from. Houses look empty because there are no kids playing in front of, nor women on their chairs chatting all day long. I have to get used of this new old life again. I know it perfectly, I even start to doubt I was out of France for more than one week.... but Mexico, is it close to Norway ? :)
